Wheel thrown, this pedestal fruit bowl has a leaf and scroll design hand painted over the raw white glaze before going into the final firing. This gives a lovely soft effect to the blue design. The pedestal features fluted carving at its top and the bowl rim was gently scalloped while the clay was still soft. This sweet little bowl looks lovely filled with seasonal fruits.
