This porcelain bell was wheel thrown. Once dry, it was painted with wax resist spots and then hand painted with dark blue underglaze colour. The white spots appear like magic and are a great contrast to the depth of the dark blue. After a bisque firing it is then glazed in a clear gloss glaze. The addition of handmade beads, hearts and ringers hanging on the natural hemp string, ensure a gentle tinkle when hanging in a good breeze. The top ring is stainless steel so will not rust.
These bells are best inside or under cover in an outside area.
